Colt Ford’s Declaration of Independence Album Features Top Acts
Well, its been some time since we have heard from Colt Ford the bigger than life Country Rapper. However, it appears Colt Ford has been hard at work recording a new album that is featuring top country artists, such as Jake Owen, Eric Church and Jason Aldean, which we think sounds great from the songwriting to the production.
And, it would appear that theses mainstream artists that are featured on the album are helping Colt Ford test the waters in this new vertical of Country Music. However, with sell out shows and die hard Colt Ford fans and a endless list of high profile acts lining up to be featured in Colt’s song there leaves little question that his brand of music is going to continue to grow in popularity among Country fans.
Colt Ford’s new album titled Declaration of Independence hits stores Oct 1, 2013. For more information visit: Colt Ford’s Official Website

Have you seen the Bellamy Brothers, Shane Wooten Band, and Jesse and Noah Bellamy on the ACMC Weekly Top 40 Spotlight? Well we have been keeping tabs on these awesome recording artists and they are not slowing down. We wanted to show you all their hard work; however that would take us a while so will give you a snap shot of the past few months.
The Bellamy Brothers released their new album Bellamy Brothers and Friends in Europe on May 24th 2013, which includes such great acts as Kris Kristofferson, Gölä, the Bacon Brothers, Jesse and Noah Bellamy, Crystal Gayle and many more.
The bands took off for Europe and have been playing festivals the last few weeks most notably the Trucker Festival in Interlachen Switzerland. And, they are making appearances at several other festivals and shows, which you can find out more by visiting the official Bellamy Brothers Website.
In addition, to the Bellamy Brothers taking Europe by storm the act Jesse and Noah Bellamy, which have been in the ACMC Spotlight with their single “Buried in Blue Jeans” joined the Bellamy Brothers on tour performing select dates in Europe to help promote the new album, which you can follow on their Official Jesse and Noah Website.
Meanwhile, back across the pond in the United States, the Shane Wooten Band has been gearing up to release their first self titled EP Shane Wooten Band featuring the Bellamy Brothers. And, the band performed as the headlining act in North Central Florida on July 3rd to a soggy crowd of over 15,000 attendees at the Williston Independence Day Festival and Fireworks. We asked Shane Wooten how it has been going the last few months, when we caught up to him at our offices and he said
“We have been practicing like crazy to give our friends/fans the best show possible. We are really proud of the new EP and we have worked with a designer Duane Schor to develop a new logo and line of clothing for the tour, which people seem to be really loving!”
Shane also stated that he was looking forward to filling this year’s calendar up with tour dates across America, which you can keep up with at Shane Wooten Band’s Official Website.
We wish these artists the best of luck with their music and enjoy watching them climb their way towards the ACMC Weekly Top 40 Chart.

Toby Keith’s Bass Player Killed in Car Crash
Carl ‘Chuck’ Goff, Jr., Toby Keith‘s bass player for the past 25 years, passed away after a car crash in Oklahoma on Feb. 27. He was 54 years old.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of our band member, Chuck Goff,” Keith said in a statement on his website. “He was a close friend for over 25 years, the band leader and bass player. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.”
Goff is credited for writing two of Keith’s hits, “You Ain’t Much Fun” and “Upstairs Downtown.” He created a signature bass through Dean Guitars.
“You can call him any time and get a laugh,” he said. “He ought to have his own radio show. He’s funny!”
Fox New’s stated the two-vehicle crash remains under investigation. Authorities say the driver of the second vehicle wasn’t seriously injured.
Miranda Lambert Speaks Out about Project Runway! (Preview Video)
Miranda Lambert has become a fashionista in the country world. At every awards show, she is certainly “one to watch,” as fans are always curious what she will show off. The performer will appear on Thursday’s (Feb. 21) episode of the long-running fashion/design reality show ‘Project Runway,’ where the designers have been tasked to create an outfit for Lambert to wear.
Miranda will choose the winning design, and in this preview clip, the ‘Fastest Girl in Town’ gets honest, offering her unabashed opinion about a slinky, strapless gray dress that has been created just for her. “I don’t know that the fabric on me would be super forgiving,” Lambert admits, clearly understanding what works — and what doesn’t — for her curvy figure.
“It doesn’t look like I could squeeze a Spanx under that very easily,” she points out.
Since she would have to wear it, it’s smart for her not to pull any punches or to be too polite when critiquing the dress.
However, co-judge and model Heidi Klum liked it, since it had no seams. So did fashion editor Nina Garcia, who said, “It has the support. It’s clean. It’s elegant. With your curves, you’re going to rock this dress.”
Lambert — who already looked hot with her blonde hair slicked back into a sleek ponytail and who was busty in a leather top — was somewhat swayed by the fashionistas. “Well, hell, let’s do it,” she tells them. So, she might very well choose that dress. Or not. You never know on ‘Project Runway.’
Miranda Lambert’s ‘Runway’ episode airs at 9PM ET on Lifetime.
