The song, written by Jesse Bellamy and Danny Simpson (who has also written songs for heavyweight country stars such as Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, and Rodney Adkins), waltzes listeners through the night of the life of a “part-time rocker in the bar up the street” playing for tips who just can’t wait to get home after last call.
