Darby, Florida – November 22, 2010 – Howard and David of the Bellamy Brothers are celebrating their Platinum success in Europe with their BB&G album, which was a collaboration project featuring Swiss artist Gola. The album was the brain child of Universal Records Switzerland, which originally thought the Bellamy Brothers and Gola would make a great combination leading up to the project.
There is no denying the album was truly a home-run and a global collaboration at that with a portion of the album being recorded at Bellamy Brothers Records located on the West Coast of Florida and the remaining portion being recorded in Europe. The album premiered at number one on the Swiss charts above artists, such as Eminem, Lady Gaga, and AC/DC where it remained for 7 weeks.
“We are truly excited to see so many young faces singing right along aside our fans at the shows. I guess their parents have been playing our records for many years at home and they are now old enough to come to the shows” – Howard Bellamy
The Bellamy Brothers are currently in preparation for their European tour spanning the month of December starting December 4, 2010 in Spiez, Switzerland. The tour is said to already be selling out and the Brothers will be appearing on television shows and radio stations during their very busy tour schedule.
