Bellamy Brothers perform at Rangers’ game in Arlington, TX
The Bellamy Brothers are as American as baseball and apple pie, which is why it comes as no surprise that they were invited and accepted the Texas Rangers’ request to sing the national anthem during their season game against the Oakland Athletics at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX. “We always are honored to sing the anthem at events like this one and the energy that you get from a crowd of 70,000 is awesome!” – Howard Bellamy
The crowd of 70,000 spectators roared with emotion as the Bellamy Brothers finished the last note followed by Texas native Mathew McConauhey throwing out the first pitch to start off the game off right. The star power that was on hand for the opening festivities rallied the Rangers that won the game with a score of 7 Rangers and Athletics with 2.
